Can I drive the rental vehicle myself?
Yes. Our vehicles are available for self-drive hire, subject to the driver meeting the applicable licence and rental requirements. Some larger vehicles may require the appropriate licence class.
What do I need to provide to hire a vehicle?
We require a valid driver licence, bank card, secondary identification and proof of address. Additional documentation may be requested depending on the vehicle or booking.
Is there a bond required?
Yes. A refundable security bond applies to our rentals. The amount can vary depending on the vehicle and booking. Any applicable deductions following the rental will be explained before the remaining bond is refunded.
Are kilometres included in the rental?
Yes. Our rentals include a kilometre allowance based on the vehicle and rental period. Additional kilometres above the included allowance may incur an excess-kilometre charge. The allowance and applicable rate will be confirmed with the booking.
Can I extend my rental?
Extensions may be available subject to vehicle availability and approval from Stallion Rentals. Customers should contact us before their scheduled return time if they need to keep the vehicle longer.
What happens if the vehicle is returned late?
Vehicles should be returned by the agreed date and time shown on the rental agreement. If a customer expects to be late, they should contact us as soon as possible. Additional rental or late charges may apply.
What are the fuel requirements when returning the vehicle?
The vehicle should be returned with the agreed fuel level stated at pickup. If additional fuel is required after return, the applicable fuel charge may be deducted from the bond or charged separately.
Where do I pick up and return the vehicle?
Pickup and return arrangements will be confirmed as part of the booking. Stallion Rentals is located at 1/23 Freeway Drive, Wallan, Victoria.
